Connectors

One search across your tools

A connector belongs to the person who connected it, and the documents it imports are private to them until they share one.

In the product

How a connection behaves

Your account, your access
A connector signs in as you and imports what your account can open.
Private until you share
Imported documents are visible to you alone until you share one.
Kept current
Changes in the source reach your library in the background.
Your choice of sources
Switch a connector off as a source, and answers stop drawing on it while it stays connected.
Disconnecting deletes the copies
Disconnecting stops the sync and deletes every document the connector imported.
Illustrative example: fictional names and documents, shown in the product's own interface.

Where the data goes

Where imported documents go

A connector's documents are kept like every other document: Documents stored in the EU, AI processing in France. The source application keeps its own copy, under your agreement with its provider.
