# Notion
Source: https://nordvec.com/docs/guides/connectors/notion

Connect Notion to Nordvec: what it imports, how to filter searches by it, and how to connect. Knowledge bases.

Imports the Notion pages you grant Nordvec access to, including database entries, comments and uploaded files.

## What it imports [#what-it-imports]

Nordvec imports these from Notion: pages, database entries, comments, and attachments.

Nordvec checks Notion for changes on a schedule, and a document deleted in Notion is removed at the next check.

## Filtering searches by Notion [#filtering-searches-by-notion]

Documents synced from Notion carry these `source_provider` values. Pass one to
[`/documents/search`](/docs/guides/how-to/filter-search) to restrict results to
this connector:

- `notion`

```bash
curl https://nordvec.com/api/v1/documents/search \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $NORDVEC_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"query": "quarterly report", "sourceProvider": "notion"}'
```

## Connecting Notion [#connecting-notion]

Connect Notion from **Connectors** in Nordvec. The connector reads with the account of the person who connects it.
Documents from Notion are private to the person who connected it until that person shares them.
An API key reads only what is shared with the workspace, so it finds these
documents once their owner shares them.
Documents are stored in the EU; every processor that touches them is published
with its jurisdiction and transfer basis at [/subprocessors](/subprocessors).
