# Confluence
Source: https://nordvec.com/docs/guides/connectors/confluence

Connect Confluence to Nordvec: what it imports, how to filter searches by it, and how to connect. Knowledge bases.

Imports the pages and blog posts in your Confluence spaces, with their comments and attachments.

## What it imports [#what-it-imports]

Nordvec imports these from Confluence: pages, blog posts, comments, and attachments.

Nordvec checks Confluence for changes on a schedule, and a document deleted in Confluence is removed at the next check.

## Filtering searches by Confluence [#filtering-searches-by-confluence]

Documents synced from Confluence carry these `source_provider` values. Pass one to
[`/documents/search`](/docs/guides/how-to/filter-search) to restrict results to
this connector:

- `confluence`

```bash
curl https://nordvec.com/api/v1/documents/search \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $NORDVEC_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"query": "quarterly report", "sourceProvider": "confluence"}'
```

## Connecting Confluence [#connecting-confluence]

Connect Confluence from **Connectors** in Nordvec. The connector reads with the account of the person who connects it.
Documents from Confluence are private to the person who connected it until that person shares them.
An API key reads only what is shared with the workspace, so it finds these
documents once their owner shares them.
Documents are stored in the EU; every processor that touches them is published
with its jurisdiction and transfer basis at [/subprocessors](/subprocessors).
