About Nordvec

Nordvec answers questions from your documents with each source cited, writes reports from them that you export as files, and keeps a library you can share with your workspace.

## Why we started Nordvec.

Hi. We are Rasmus and Mathias, the two founders of Nordvec. We built it to use AI on documents while knowing where they are stored and processed.

Nordvec connects to tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Slack, and to files you upload. The answers and the citations are the same on every plan, for one person or a whole company.

Connected sources stay up to date in the background. Ask a question and get an answer that cites its sources, or a report you open, compare between versions and export. Documents stored in the EU, AI processing in France. The trust page shows which GDPR and EU AI Act obligations are implemented and which are still open.

### Connectors.

Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion and more connect today. Connectors for European accounting systems, among them e-conomic, Dinero, Fortnox and Visma, are planned.

### Documents and AI processing in the EU.

Documents are stored in Ireland, and generation and embeddings run in France. Providers incorporated outside the European Economic Area are named in our sub-processor register with the transfer basis that applies to each.

### Evidence per obligation.

The trust page lists each GDPR and EU AI Act transparency obligation with its status and the code evidence behind it.

No provider in our model layer, and no parent company of one, is incorporated outside the European Economic Area.

Elsewhere in the stack, providers whose parent company sits outside the European Economic Area are being replaced, and we will not launch while any of them still processes customer content. Our sub-processor register names each one, what replaces it, and where that work has got to.
